We have temporarily paused the sale of Fixed Rate Lock applications effective from 5:00pm (AEDT) Friday 6 February 2026.

This pause allows us to manage current market conditions and ensure responsible pricing and portfolio management. Any Rate Lock applications fully submitted and received by 4:59pm on Friday 6 February 2026 will continue to be honoured.

During the pause:

  • Applications already lodged with fully paid Rate Lock fees will continue under the standard process
  • New Fixed Rate Lock submissions will not be accepted
  • Fixed‑rate loan products remain available; however, the rate lock option is unavailable until further notice

We will update brokers as soon as the Fixed Rate Lock option is reinstated. For assistance with current applications, please contact our Broker Relationship Team.

Any referral is to be in accordance with your Broker Referral Arrangement. In particular, your obligation to limit activity to:

  • Inform the customer that GMCU is able to provide a particular Credit Activity or a class of Credit Activities;
  • Give to GMCU the Customer's name and contact details within five business days after informing the Customer; and
  • Give to GMCU a short description of the purpose for the Customer may want a provision of credit or a consumer lease (if the Broker knows the purpose).
