Branch Manager - Benalla & Violet Town, Permanent full-time


About the Role

We are looking for a Branch Manager who will play a key role in driving lending performance and portfolio growth, actively building strong relationships with members and local community. You'll work closely with the leadership team to support strategic business development while overseeing day-to-day branch operations and guiding team members to deliver outstanding member services.

About You

You’re a values-driven individual who’s passionate about community and connection. You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a Tier 2 certification or the ability to successfully complete within three months of commencement.
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive individual and team development including employee engagement, mentoring, coaching, capability uplift and continuous improvement
  • Have a proven and proactive track record of business development and portfolio growth with established quality referral sources and networks
  • Able to work independently to manage own portfolio, achieve defined objectives and prioritise workload as required
  • Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to manage relationships effectively and consultatively with a diverse range of internal & external stakeholders
  • Able to exercise sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality
  • Able to promote and follow compliance, risk and regulatory policies and guidelines
  • Can meet GMCU’s pre-employment screening requirements
