Important changes to Cheque Services.

What?

GMCU with be withdrawing from Corporate Cheques. Members will no longer able to order a Corporate Cheque in branches from the 17 May 2024. GMCU Corporate Cheques will be dishonoured from this date.

Why?

This decision is in line with the recent Australian Government announcement that cheque services will be phased out entirely by 2030 and reflects the ongoing industry wide decline of cheque usage and growing popularity of electronic and digital payments.
