What is Quick Balance?

Quick Balance allows you to easily view the balance of your selected account by double-tapping the $ View Accounts icon on the home screen of the gmcu App, even when you are not logged in to the App.

How do I set up Quick Balance?

For Android users, when you are logged in the gmcu App, you can set up your preferred account by clicking the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen and selecting the Set Quick Balance Account option.

For iOS (Apple) users, when you are logged in the gmcu App, you can set up your preferred account by clicking three lines in the left-hand corner of the screen and selecting the Settings > Set Quick Balance Account option.

You can also disable Quick Balance functionality from these menus.

How can I change the order of my accounts, and add a personalised image for each of my accounts?

For Android users, when you are logged in the gmcu App, you can change the order in which your accounts are displayed and add a customised photo for your accounts by clicking the three dots in the right-hand corner of the screen and selecting Customise Accounts

For iOS (Apple) users, when you are logged in the gmcu App, you can change the order in which your accounts are displayed and add a customised photo for your accounts by clicking the three lines in the left-hand corner of the screen and selecting the Settings > Customise Accounts.

I have lost my phone, what should I do?

The gmcu App includes security features such as an automatic time-out to help you to protect your accounts.  We also recommend that you always use a secure password on PIN code to lock your phone.

If you have a new phone, Android users can de-register the old phone from the gmcu App by clicking the three dots in the right-hand corner of the screen and selecting Manage Devices.

If you have a new phone, iOS (Apple) users can de-register their old phone from the gmcu App by clicking the three lines in the left-hand corner of the screen and selecting the Settings > Manage Devices.

If you don’t have a new phone, contact gmcu immediately and we will assist to de-register your device. 

If you notice any unusual transactions on your account, please contact gmcu straight away.  Delay in letting us know can increase your liability for unauthorised payments under the ePayments Code.

I have lost my card, what should I do?

The gmcu App enables you to lock and unlock your card all from within the App.  You can also report a card lost or stolen, and order a replacement card (as long as your address hasn’t changed).

To access the card management options, click the Cards button on the Home page of the iOs (Apple) or Android gmcu App.

You can view gmcu’s contact details and opening hours by double-clicking the gmcu logo on the Home screen.
