If you have been impacted by the recent floods and require assistance, we're here to help.

  • The first priority is to stay safe. Follow the latest warnings and advice at emergency.vic.gov.au
  • Allianz have also provided useful information about what to do before, during and after a flood event here.
  • Talk to us - contact your local branch. We are monitoring calls during business hours even if your usual branch is closed.
  • Loan hardship - if you are concerned about your ability to make repayments to your loan, speak to us as soon as possible.
  • Amigo card holders - Please call Amigo Support on 1300 377 800.

Allianz Insurance Customers

If you have sustained any damage to property as a result of the floods and have Allianz Insurance through GMCU, notify Allianz as soon as it's safe to do so using one of the below methods:

Allianz claims service providers and loss adjusters are on standby, ready to respond. Customers are advised to lodge claims via the online portal wherever possible.

Where critical items need urgent replacement and/or repair, customers are advised to take photos of the damage, and keep any receipts for incurred spend for later reimbursement.

Making claims - finding your account details

If you have been affected by the recent floods and are looking to make a claim for assistance, you will likely need your Account Number and BSB. Note that this Account Number is 9 digits long, and is different to your Member Number. If you are unsure how to find your Account Number, please follow the steps below.

 

On the GMCU Mobile App

  1. Open the App and log in with your PIN
  2. Select 'View Accounts' to see a list of your accounts
  3. Select an account
  4. Click the ( i ) (information) button at the top of the screen.

The BSB and Account Number for the selected account will then be displayed.

 

Using Internet Banking

  1. Log in to Internet Banking as usual
  2. Select "Services and Help" from the top menu
  3. Select "BSB Information".

You will then be presented with a list of your accounts, along with their Account Numbers and our BSB.
